OPEN SOCIAL INNOVATION FOR IMPACT

In light of the increasing complex social and environmental problems our society is facing – from poverty, access to education, climate change to aging and health, there is a recognition that we need coordinated and collaborative effort to address them. Open Social Innovation (OSI) is about new forms of organizing bringing together actors from various sectors along the social innovation process –– from identifying the problem, working and prototyping potential solutions, to scaling solutions.

ROSI (Research on Open Social Innovation) brings together researchers from multiple theoretical lenses and methodological angels who are interested in studying open forms of organizing social innovation, and how to best coordinate collaboration of multiple stakeholders. We are a loose federation of scholars from institutions on different continents, and at different career stages.
